About Me

I'm a Scottish-Irish multimedia journalist from Glasgow, UK, currently based between Chiang Mai and Mae Sot, Thailand.

Aided by reporting trips to Myanmar and Malaysia, I regularly contribute to Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) - Myanmar's largest public service style news outlet, which operates from exile. I was recently taken on as a freelancer for DW.

Since finishing B/A Journalism studies in 2024, I have gained experience in radio and podcast production, news and feature writing, and photography.

On a personal note, I’m happiest when I’m on the move in nature, or when I’m taking videos of interactions with reticent street cats.
