Seán is a Scottish-Irish multimedia journalist from Glasgow, UK, currently based between Chiang Mai and Mae Sot, Thailand.

He's a regular contributor to Democratic Voice of Burma (DVB) - a prominent Myanmar public service-style news outlet - which operates from exile.

Since leaving university in 2024, he has gained experience in radio and podcast production, news and feature writing, and editorial photography.

Outside of journalism, he's happiest on the move, in nature, or interacting with reticent street cats.
